Believed to be written by a brother of Jesus named Jude, this book was written to the church in Jerusalem around the same time John was writing Revelation. Jude wrote this book to address the false teachings that had crept into the church. False beliefs about Jesus and teachings about things like sexual purity had spread throughout the church. Jude is a letter to warn against deception and encourage Jesus-followers to cling to Christ and his teachings.
