5000 Ministry Launch

We are excited to announce the beginning of our 5000 Ministry!

Our 5000 Ministry serves those in our local community who are experiencing homelessness, hunger, or poverty. As followers of Jesus, we are called to clothe, feed, and care for those in need, and the 5000 Ministry helps do that. 

On August 4th, 2024, we are launching a 5000 Ministry and we need your help! We will be partnering with Shelbyville Community Soup Kitchen to provide breakfast on the first Sunday of every month for those in need. 

Serving in the 5000 Ministry is a great way to show Christ’s love and authentic community service to our neighbors! From helping to set up, prepare, or give out meals to talking and praying with individuals and leading a Bible study, volunteers in our 5000 Ministry will help show compassion and foster relationships that will hopefully draw others to Christ. Volunteer to help as we start this impactful outreach ministry!

Time Commitment: 8:30–10:30 am on the first Sunday of each month
