Understanding the Bible

Understanding the Bible is a podcast and workbook resource designed to help you navigate God’s Word. It’s a basic introduction to the “genres” of the Bible, in other words the “kinds” of books that are in it. Just like you have different expectations of a documentary movie than a sitcom TV show, we should have different expectations of genres like biblical poetry and letters. We encourage you to listen to the podcast episodes, review the main ideas in the workbook, and then discuss what you got from them with other people, whether it be friends and family or your Life Group.
