Prayer Team | Cannon County
YOUR CHURCH
Each weekend, toward the end of a service, after the lesson has been shared, there is the opportunity for anyone to come up for prayer. Humble men and women stand ready to come alongside any congregant who needs or wants to be prayed with. As others get in line to pick up the elements for communion, these men and women of the Prayer Team stand nearby, ready, willing, and able to listen and pray over the needs, praises, and concerns of others. Then, even in times when they are not visible to the congregation, during weekly prayer meetings, the people serving on the Prayer Team are dedicating themselves to spending time with God in prayer for others.
If you feel drawn to dedicated, intentional prayer time to serve the Body of Christ and the community, the Prayer Team is an excellent place for you to serve.
On the Prayer Team, we strive to honor God’s call to make His house a house of prayer. We believe prayer is a form of worship and is a vital part of our relationship with God as well as the health of our church. From attending a weekly prayer meeting to being available for prayer with our congregants during the weekend services, the Prayer Team helps lift up the requests, praises, and concerns of our community.
