Esther | Murfreesboro

The book of Esther is a unique story in the Old Testament. It is a historical narrative during the time of the Persian empire. One of the most intriguing aspects of this book is that God is not mentioned at all by name, yet He is at work in multiple ways throughout the story. In this book, we see how God works through ordinary and flawed people. We learn that pride is dangerous and humility is honored by God.  We see that God’s will prevails when His people humble themselves and seek Him. There is much we can learn and practically apply to our modern-day lives as we follow along with Esther’s story.
