YOUR CHURCH
Every person who enters the doors of an ECC campus has a story. Many are struggling with health issues, currently sick or injured, grieving a loss, or in a difficult season of life. We may not know every story, but when we do know a story and we know a need, we want to show the love of Jesus to those in the Body of Christ by helping them in practical ways. “As we have opportunity, [we want to] do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers” (Galatians 6:10, CSB). Our mission is to create authentic followers of Jesus, and part of the way we do that is through providing multiple care services to individuals in need who are connected to our congregation. This may look like organizing a meal train, delivering meals, making hospital/home visits, or even helping with house/yard work.
If you are like-minded in this and have a heart for helping those in need in practical ways, serving on the Congregational Care Team is an excellent way for you to serve at ECC.
On our Congregational Care team, we strive to take care of our church family by meeting physical and spiritual needs. The care of our church family is essential; we cannot serve those outside our community if those inside our church are left in need. From organizing meal trains to making hospital visits to lawn/home maintenance, Congregational Care helps attend to the needs of our congregation.
