Every weekend on the Square in downtown Murfreesboro, the bars and clubs are visited by people who are struggling with issues, drunk, or in an unsafe state to be on the roads. We believe that, following Christ’s example, we need to be willing to meet people wherever they are in life and to show them the love of Jesus. We want to show them that someone cares about them, their safety, the safety of others, and ultimately, their souls. Through Bar Ministry, men and women of ECC commit to spending Friday and Saturday nights showing the love of Jesus by serving this community.

At Bar Ministry, we serve hot dogs, chips, and beverages to people walking in and out of the bars and clubs in downtown Murfreesboro. Our goal is not to convert anyone or to push our beliefs on them, but simply to start conversations and let the Holy Spirit lead us. These conversations often lead to us organically sharing the Gospel or inviting people to our church.
