The book of Nehemiah follows the story of a man living in the Persian empire during the exile of Judah. Nehemiah is called by God to restore the walls that surround Jerusalem and recommit the Jewish people back to God. This book follows Nehemiah’s journey and struggles along the way. We discuss the importance of prayer as part of our preparation, wise leadership, how to stand firm in the face of adversity, and the importance of our commitment to God.
