Reclaimed Jail Ministry | Murfreesboro
YOUR CHURCH
Sometimes, poor decisions and horrible mistakes have led men and women to serve time in jail. But if we are honest, none of us are perfect—we have all messed up—and God often chooses broken people with sketchy pasts to make a huge difference in the world. So why should we give up on those who have been incarcerated?
At ECC, our mission is to lead current and former inmates into a saving relationship with Christ while rehabilitating them back into society through our Reclaimed Jail Ministry.
Our vision is to create an environment inside and outside of the jails that will lead people into a discipling relationship through small groups and life coaching.
We do this through Bible studies inside 940 and The Workhouse, helping inmates stay in small groups once they leave the jail, and getting them plugged into a community that will love and support them without encouraging the behavior that got them in jail in the first place.
If you desire to help others during hard times and build lasting relationships through sharing the Word of God, volunteering with the Reclaimed Jail Ministry may be a great place for you to serve. From leading studies at the jail or at the Boro ECC Campus to mentoring to assisting with the HiSet GED program, Reclaimed Jail Ministry loves and supports inmates by leading them to be Christ followers.
