Intro to Life Groups
Are you interested in connecting with a Life Group at our Murfreesboro Campus? We invite you to attend an upcoming Intro to Life Groups meeting! At this meeting, you will learn about ECC’s vision for Life Groups, have an opportunity to meet and greet with Life Group leaders who are in attendance, and also receive a list of open groups. We aim to simply cast the vision for Life Groups and get you plugged in. Select the link below to see upcoming meeting dates and sign up to attend.
September Life Group Launch
You are invited to register and become a member of one of the upcoming Life Groups launching the first week of September! Take a moment to review the bios and choose the group that aligns best with your needs. We kindly ask that you commit to regular attendance when signing up. As slots are limited, we aim to fill them with individuals prioritizing a consistent community.
Group One
Caleb & Sarah Van Dyke (Co-Ed)
- Sundays at 5:30 PM
- Begins September 13th
- Meets in North Murfreesboro
- Allergies: Dog & Cat present
- Children Welcome (must register)
Sarah was born in Akron, Ohio, and raised in Antioch, Tennessee, while Caleb is originally from Huntsville, Alabama. They’re a family of four, with two daughters, who love playing games, traveling, and spending time with their extended family. They’re passionate about serving in the community at ECC because serving others is simply part of who they are.They enjoy making me feel supported, connected, and cared for. When it comes to Life Groups, Sarah and Caleb are excited about gathering around a table, sharing life, encouraging one another, and growing together in faith. They love authentic community and creating space where people feel welcomed and strengthened. Their fun fact is truly one‑of‑a‑kind: Sarah is a twin… and Caleb is also a twin. Two twins who married each other!
Group Two
Kevin & Dina Beckwiths (Co-Ed)
- Wednesdays at 6:00 PM
- Begins September 16th
- Meets in N Murfreesboro
- No Childcare

Kevin and Dina are originally from Baltimore, Maryland, and have been part of ECC for six months. They’ve been married for 41 years and have two sons, ages 40 and 38, along with five grandchildren, ages 21, 16, 15, 13, and 7. They’re passionate about serving in Community because they love fellowship, growing, learning, and telling others about Jesus. What they look forward to most in group life is simple and meaningful: fellowship. Their fun facts are unforgettable: Kevin has 25 siblings altogether, and Dina went back to college after 20 years.
Group One
Hannah & Travis Thompson (Co-Ed)

- Meets in South Murfreesboro

Travis is originally from Murfreesboro, while Hannah is from West Palm Beach, Florida. They’ve been part of ECC since 2018 and love being connected here. They have one daughter, Sarah, who is four. Travis’s extended family also lives in Murfreesboro and is involved at ECC. They’re passionate about serving in the community because they believe in ECC’s mission, love the study formats, and enjoy serving. They’re excited to build a small circle of friends where everyone can grow together in faith and life. An unforgettable fun fact about them: in 7th grade, Travis accidentally broke his arm while playing the Wii.
Group Four
Fred & Samantha Daniel (Co-Ed)
- Thursdays at 6:30 PM
- Begins September 17th
- Near MTSU
- Allergies: Dog present
Samantha is from Louisville, Georgia, and Fred is from Paris, Tennessee. They came to ECC in November 2025 seeking a Christ‑centered community grounded in truth. Married since 1997, they’ve made Murfreesboro home and raised two children, one now in Mt. Juliet and one studying at the University of South Alabama. Samantha has spent 13 years in early childhood education, and Fred has worked 38 years in GIS/tax mapping. They’re passionate about community because they want to stay connected, grow in faithful accountability, and build friendships rooted in scripture. Psalm 19:14 shapes the way they desire to live and serve. They’re most excited about faithful fellowship centered on truth. Samantha’s fun fact? She sings to children all day to help them process big emotions and The Princess Bride was her favorite movie at 15.
