May Launch Groups

You are invited to register and become part of one of the ten upcoming Life Groups launching the first week of May! Take a moment to review the bios and choose the group that aligns best with your needs. We kindly ask that you commit to regular attendance when signing up. As slots are limited, we aim to fill them with individuals prioritizing consistent community.

Group One

Alex & Cassidy Mussleman (Co-Ed)

  • Wednesdays @ 6:30 pm Beginning 5/8
  • Meets at their home in Rockvale
  • Children Welcome (They must be registered below)
  • Allergen Caution: Dog in the Home

Originally from Florence, AL, and Antioch, TN, Alex & Cassidy Mussleman have been ECC members for three years. Married in 2015, they parent Molly Blaire, Sawyer, and Foster, along with their dog, Onyx. They look forward to beginning a homeschooling journey with Molly Blaire this fall for Kindergarten. Alex works in accounting at HCA, while Cassidy shifted from teaching to real estate. They enjoy game nights, cooking, and football. Eager to grow spiritually, they anticipate fellowship and Bible study with their group. Fun facts: Cassidy ran a cookie business, and Alex was raised on a farm.

Alicia Paul (Women’s)

Originally from Reading, Pennsylvania, Alicia Paul has been at ECC since 2017 with husband, Darek, 4-year-old son Liam, and dog Izzy. They cherish family time and embrace a laid-back lifestyle. Committed to personal growth and supporting others, Alicia is excited to serve in community. Eagerly anticipating deeper Bible study and collective service opportunities, she looks forward to building relationships and mutual accountability. A fun fact: her family has owned pizza shops, and she makes delicious pizza from scratch.

Group Three

Greg & Lora Limbaugh (Married Couples)

Greg and Lora Limbaugh, from Alabama and Indiana, have been at ECC for four months. Married six years, they have four children and eight grandchildren. Their passion for serving in Life Groups stems from their divine calling to share God’s truth. They eagerly anticipate spiritual growth with fellow believers, each bringing unique traits: Greg, a lifelong southerner and Auburn fan with a gracious spirit and dry humor; Lora, an eclectic antique collector and artist with a love for painting through diverse mediums.

Group Four

Clint Graves (Men’s)

  • Wednesdays @ 6:30 pm Beginning 5/8
  • Meets at his home in South M’boro

Clint Graves, from Lebanon, TN, has been at ECC for five years and is married to his lovely wife, Kristen. He serves in security, Kristen with ECCO. They’re deeply rooted in Murfreesboro. Clint sees and values Life Groups as vital for building community and fostering relationships. Eager to transition from the sidelines to a more active role, he looks forward to engaging deeply in shared life experiences through his group. Clint is a computer nerd and football fan who also harbors a writing passion, aspiring to publish a novel someday.

Group Five

Emily Harmon (Co-Ed)

Emily Harmon, hailing from Conway, Arkansas, has dedicated over a decade to ECC (impressive!). Her passion for serving in Life Groups arises from a profound belief that God designed us to work together in community. Emily excitedly anticipates exploring and interpreting Scripture with other believers.Ask Emily about this fun anecdote from her past: gracing the front page of the local paper at the age of five!

Group Six

Chenoa Russell (Women’s)

  • Thursdays @ 6:30 pm Beginning 5/9
  • Meets at Newks or Starbucks
  • No Childcare

Originally from Thomaston, GA, Chenoa Russel has been part of ECC for 2.5 years. Married with three children, aged 6, nearly 4, and 2, she and her husband cherish time with their extended family. Passionate about community service at ECC, Chenoa aims to share God’s grace, love, and blessings. Looking forward to group life, Chenoa is excited about encouraging one another through God’s word and developing a closer walk with Jesus while navigating life together. A fun fact: Chenoa is a former teacher who loves the outdoors.

Group Seven

Hayden Little (Co-Ed)

  • Wednesdays at 7:00 pm Beginning 5/8
  • Meets at his home in Central M’boro
  • Older kids welcome (Junior High+)

Originally from Indianapolis (go Colts!), Hayden Little moved to Middle Tennessee in 2018. He’s been part of ECC since December 2018. Living with his pup, Luke, Hayden is passionate about serving in community, inspired by Jesus’s call to servant leadership. Excited about group life, he anticipates walking through life with people, creating a motley crew of individuals with different perspectives to help one another grow as followers of Christ and equipping disciples to make more disciples. A fun fact: I’m pursuing a doctorate in technology.

Group Eight

Sarah Barnes (Women’s)

  • Tuesdays at 5:30 am Beginning 5/7
  • Meets at her home in North M’boro
  • No Childcare

Sarah Barnes, originally from Kentucky, moved to Chattanooga at age 4 and settled in Murfreesboro 52 years ago, attending ECC for 2 years. With a father in the Navy Reserves, service runs deep in her family. Sarah’s family, including a daughter, son-in-law, and two granddaughters, lives nearby. Passionate about community and sharing Jesus’ peace, she eagerly anticipates diverse group perspectives and cherishes “AHA” moments. Fun fact: Sarah toured Israel twice, deepening her biblical understanding.

Group Nine

Francisco & Meagan Arcos (Spanish Co-Ed)

  • Saturday at 11:00 am Beginning 5/11
  • Meets at their home in Christiana
  • Children Welcome

Originalmente de México, Francisco ha sido parte de ECC por 4 1/2 años. El y su esposa, Meagan (de Tennessee), están bendecidos con 3 hijos de 14, 10, y 3 años. Originally from Nashville, Ginger has spent her entire life here in Middle Tennessee. At ECC for 2 1/2 years, she and her husband are parents to 6 grown children and grandparents to 7, keeping them happily occupied. Ginger is passionate about serving in the ECC community, especially alongside women committed to delving into God’s word and serving others. Looking forward to group life, she cherishes the openness and support to be shared. A fun fact: Ginger enjoys sewing, particularly baby/children quilts and other small items.

Intro to Life Groups

At this meeting, you will learn about ECC’s vision for Life Groups, have an opportunity to meet and greet with Life Group leaders who are in attendance, and also receive a list of open groups.
