WHY HOME CHURCH?
We are called to be a calming, active force in the community around us. So, whether you choose to stay home with family or invite others to come over, we want you to be able to engage with God using our livestream services, children's ministry resources and student ministry content.
During this crisis we are experiencing as a nation, we want to provide you with the resources and tools you may need to experience a worship service and children's church in your home. We are also providing a way for students to connect and engage with their weekday ministries.
Even though we are not able to gather as usual, we need to be praying, fasting, and seeking Jesus. We need to be the salt and light Jesus has asked us to be in the Book of Matthew. As your church, we are here to equip you with the resources you may need to share the Good News of Jesus with your friends, family, and neighbors.
Although we are not currently able to provide an environment at the church to offer worship services, you can stay connected to the Body of Christ through our various media platforms (ECC App, Website, etc). By meeting in smaller groups in someone's home or just with our families, we can still hear the Word, be encouraged by the Holy Spirit, and commune with God.
To access our services online by clicking on Media > Watch Live inthe menu bar. You can also watch previous sermons by clicking on Media > Sermons.
PRAYER & FASTING
Fasting is also an important discipline given to us in scripture as a means to draw our attention towards God and seek Him earnestly with all of our hearts. Given the current situation surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, we’re asking that everyone in our church would enter into a fast with us where we willingly give something up (E.G., a meal, certain types of food, media, coffee, sweets, etc.) and intentionally seek God through prayer. We have also included over 100 devotionals from prior times of fasting that we have done as church in the Home Church section of the ECC App. Let’s join together in faith asking Him to heal our land and protect our community during this critical time
