ECCO KIDS

In ECCO (Experience Community Children's Outreach) we strive to form meaningful Christ-centered relationships with kids from 6 weeks old to 5th grade. Our mission is to guide kids to the light of Christ through love. We focus on teaching the Gospel, praying, and worshiping God together. Through our curriculum (The Gospel Project) each student who attends ECCO starting at age 3 will go through the entire Bible three times before graduating to our middle school ministry! While here, kids get to engage with the Bible through small group time, prayer, song, dance, and a short video. Volunteers are screened before being allowed in classrooms and attend teacher training each year. We do not require teachers to have prior experience, just a love for Christ and kids!

QUESTIONS ABOUT ECCO?

What age group does ECCO include?

ECCO includes Nursery, Preschool, and Elementary children.

This is my first time at The Experience.
How do I check in my child?

New kid check-in is located at the entrance to the ECCO wing. If you walk in the main doors just follow the blue line on the floor. We have a check-in team that will greet you, walk you through the registration process, and guide you to your child’s class. You will also receive a family connection card so we can learn more about your family. Once the card is completed and submitted to our check-in team, your child/children may redeem the connection card for a prize!

How early can I check in my child?

Dropoff for ECCO begins 20 minutes prior to each service time. For returning families, they can check in at any of our iPads in the hallway outside of ECCO before entering the wing to drop off.

Where does my child go during service?

During service, there are four separate areas our ECCO kids are located. Babies through Two years old are located in our Nursery. Three years old through five years old will be located in our Pre-school hallway. Kindergarten through third grade is located in the ECCO wing. Fourth and Fifth grade is located in the Loft.

Am I able to bring my child to ECCO late or pick them up early?

Your child’s comfort and safety are top priorities to our team. Feel free to drop off late or pick your child up early, until you and they feel comfortable staying an entire service. For peace of mind and accountability (or safety), screens displaying our security cameras are located in the nursery and ECCO Wing lobby.

What if I lose my security sticker?

If you lose your security sticker, please go to the ECCO Children’s desk (located in the ECCO wing), and we will print you a new sticker! In order to receive a new sticker, you must provide ID verification.

What if my child's security code appears on
the screen during Service?

If your child’s number appears on the screen please head straight to their ministry environment to find out more information.

Do you have a nursing mother’s room?

Yes! Our nursing mother’s room is located within the nursery and is equipped with a space for you to nurse, change, and relax with your little one. Service is streamed directly to the room so you don’t miss a beat!

My child is interested in baptism. What do I need to do?

Each summer, our children’s and student ministry teams organize camps for the students in our church and community. These camps are opportunities for the next generation to go deeper into God’s Word, have purposeful time in worship and prayer, and build intentional relationships. For volunteers, this is an opportunity to serve our students and disciple them in their relationship with God. Throughout the summer, we will have four different camp options for various ages and at different locations. Get all the information and how to sign up with the link below!
